Here Kitty Kitty is a punk band in the true sense of the term. They play infectious power chord driven tunes straight out of the garage. These three girls and their guy drummer play for fun, you won't find any flashy production or insincerity here, just catchy punk songs.

Here Kitty Kitty formed in Santa Cruz, CA circa 1999 with an initial goal of having fun amongst friends. Here Kitty Kitty has come a long way since then, sharing stages with Youth Brigade, The Lonely Kings, The Eyeliners, Slow Gherkin and Swingin' Utters, to name a few. Their sound takes hard-edged angst and pushes it into bubble gum pop territory, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. The simplicity of the Ramones, the angst of the Muffs and the abrasive elements of Sonic Youth, come together to find a happy medium. Their lyrical topics range from personal,( the painful loss of a father in the title track Daddy's Girl), to an outright obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the track Buffy.

With the loss of a member the group is now a trio, but judging from their live shows since, they are just as strong as ever. There is something on "Daddy's Girl" for everyone!
